i went and bought a can of "glass cleaner" real original name, works great. spray it on and it foams up wipe it down then polish it off. clear as well, glass.
hey mudder where did you get the cleaner called streak proof at? i suck at cleaning glass and always get streaks. lately i have been using shining monkey glass cleaner and i think it works better than stoners invisable glass.
I had my windows tinted and the tint guy said not to use any cleaning product that had ammonia in it. He said it will ruin the tint film. I use a weak solution of water and liquid dish soap, wipe it with a clean damp cloth and dry it with newspaper. It works great for me.

I use straight alcohol on mine. It does not leave streaks, it removes all the stuff that is given off by the plactics and dirt. Of course I do not have tinted windows.
Pro grade GRIP it cleaner with meguires windshield microfiber cloth and rain x windshield wax (not the spray, actual wax, nobody uses it) if i'm going over 40 its pointless to use my wipers. its alot easier to keep the windows clean when they are waxed
I got the Streakproof online the last time I found it. I don't know that its that much better than the Stoners.
you should try shining monkeys glass cleaner. in my opinion it works better than stoners and creates a slight rain x effect on the windshield. there tire shine is pretty good also. it leaves the tire nice and black and doesn't sling.
I will give it a shot if I can find it. Where are you getting this monkey stuff?????? LOL :)
you can get it from click here they mainly market to the import crowd so don't let their website scare you. i bought a can of it at a car show and have been really impressed with it. mudder do you normally use tire shine at shows? if so what do you use? i like to use water based dressings and have only found 2. adams vrt and poorboys bold n bright.
I have been using the Stoners tire shine for the tires. I spray it on right before I go to the car wash then wash it off. Leaves the tires black and new looking but not wet. I dont like the wet look at all. I just go over the tire 1 time also, tryin not to overlap.

Re: Windows/Glass
One more vote for Stoners
I use paper towels and don't have any streaking really. I used newspaper years ago in the detailing days with no problems :D |
Re: Windows/Glass
