Did you swap everything over from the Suburban? If so, how difficult was it? I have been thinking about doing this also.

I didnt swap the parts over..I was lucky to find this with this much work already done for the price it was purchased for..I do know it is using suburban leafs on the rear and rearend..It would be that hard to swap all if it over as it all bolts right up.

I was curious about the doors, and drivetrain. Looks like you got a deal, though.

oh I did .it was bought on the spot..I had to do some foot work to track the truck down once I found out it was sold by the guy who originally built it.It was traded off for a 50's model truck..The po girlfriend just happens to work at the post office so we were shipping some stuff out and we asked if her boyfriend sold the truck and she was like yea..I told here I would have bough tit If i knew they were selling it..She was like ..You just missed the guy that has it now and he wants to sell it....I damn near **** my britches..my little heart started to flutter and my knees got weak..So the big question was asked??? how much??...
In a nice country voice she replied... I think he said he want 2000 for it..There I go again almost crapping my pants...Make a long story short the truck was only a couple blocks behind the post office and I was driving it a couple hours later. The deal was struck at 1900 and he got to keep his little diamond plate tool box...lol..I also sold the wheels for 250.00 ..So in all fairness the truck cost me 1650.00 :metal:
Hate me now guys:metal:..oh and and ac will freeze ya nuts off.lol

AK, I am interested in the mounts too! Could you set me up with a pic too! Also, is the seat wide enough back there? I had thought that a sub rear seat was a bit narrower....Oh, and nice truck, too bad you are thinking of selling. I would like to have it. I would look pretty cool sitting next to my lifted ccsb:metal: The wife would kill me though:waah: Thanks !
