Re: Shy guy!
Congrats to Kevin and Rene!
My son, Justin, and I were there on Sunday. What beautiful weather, but hey, it's Cali! We talked with both Kevin and Rene at the winners circle. Guys, your trucks look awesome. Thanks Rene for letting us sit in your truck to test the feel of tilt column. Nice comfy buddy seat too! And Kevin, thanks for your tips on our 67 build. Inside of a building there was this awesome 1958 Apache Cameo. I spoke with the owner. Was told in 1958 less than 300 of these were made. Very unique.... http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/7642/hpim2094g.jpghttp://img230.imageshack.us/img230/6759/hpim2095o.jpg http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/5017/hpim2097o.jpghttp://img593.imageshack.us/img593/5416/hpim2098.jpg |
Re: Shy guy!
That's a beauty. Just my opinion though that if there really were only 300 made the owner had a responsibility to restore it to original not restomod it. I know it's his truck and his money. I just feel sad when a very rare vehicle's originality is lost. Don't flame me - just an older guy thinking out loud.
