wait until you are behind the wheel.... my father in law who only speaks spanish first showed me and I didnt understand what he was saying and I still got it right away as soon as I put my hand on the shifter.

Its really simple ,I taught one of my foster boys on mine and it was easy for him and will be for you as well. With mine I told him while in the drivers seat with the engine off ans parking brake set to do a test run through the gears .Reverse ,I told him to pull the shift lever toward his chest and push up ,for first to pull the shifter toward his belly and pull down, second to push toward the radio and push up ,and for third push away toward the radio and pull down .Hope this helps ,now go get that truck .

I taught myself when I was 14 years old watching my Dad drive his Truck, I use to take joy rides in it until he caught and disciplined me. :ito:
