Keep an eye out for a 67-80 C-50 style school bus... I want the gauges and little gauge panel they go in!

I love the scrapyard too much...

I recently pulled a hydroboost from a diesel truck. My truck has power brakes already. I'm not sure it would be wise to put it on the Camaro.

Last week I snagged a core support. Mine's repairable.

These are just the latest examples, and both were in full sun at over 100F.

Yeah, there are a bunch of hydroboost setups here, just don't know if they are worth picking up.

Just took in a 78 Big 10 shortbed here recently.

Not junkyarding for the truck but...

I'll blame the over 100 temps since it took at least 5 trips to get spindles from a Caprice to convert the fronts on the Camaro to 12". First trip is to find the right parts. 2nd I realize I forgot the ratchet driven allen wrenches. 3rd forgot the 3/8 ratchet. 4th forgot the 1/2 sockets. 5th trip finally actually got the spindles.

I don't mind since I go to the scrapyard for fun but I sure feel dumb.

I also picked up S10 rear disk parts from multiple trucks at two places since the car has staggered shocks so I needed parts from a 4x4 and 2x4. I think this was another total of 5 trips too, but some were combined with the above trips and I got better at remembering to think more before loading the tool bag.

Great pix everyone. :)

I miss meandering around old junk yards. All the good ones around here crushed & closed shop years ago.
