Thank you! and I still need to raise the rear a bit. I think Im going to take a leaf or two out of my old sring pack and add them to the current spring pack to raise the rear and stiffen it a bit at the same time. Im thinking the reason the flip kit lowered it way more than it was suppossed to is maybe because of the additional weight on the rear of the frame from the rear mount fuel tank. I didnt think about all that weight when I put it the flip kit on. What was suppossed to be 5" of drop has turned into about 7+ and will get even worse when I put the aluminum sheet in for the bed floor. As far as needing the weight, I think Im more than good since relocating the tank. I mean, itll destroy street tires but the 325/50-15 drag radials dead hooked....even with no fenders, no bed floor, and no topper on! Of course Im sure that will change once I get my stall converter. ;)

Yes, we figured out what was wrong and its a bit embarressing that I didnt figure it out sooner. Apparently I have a ton of water in my tank!! I put new plugs in and checked that coils were firing and they were so I pulled one of the plugs out again and just like before it was soaking wet. I held it up and told my buddy "look! its dripping with fuel!" He took it and smelled it and was like Dude thats not gas!!! Sure enough, my injectors were pumping straight water!! Pulled the pump, dropped a sypohon hand pump in the bottom of the tank and pumped out almost a gallon of water before fuel started coming out!!! Were trying to figure out how so much water got in my tank and trying to get as much out as possible since I have over 3/4 of a tank before we put it all back together.:banghead:

Wow..That's a lot of water. Sounds sketchy to me. Sabotage?

I have a roll n lock cover on my 2016 chevy and I like it a lot.

Good luck with it.

Im rolling over how the water got there. Making sure my custom fuel filler doesnt leak in the rain. I also thought maybe condisation sence the weather has been going from 8 degrees to 70 and back over and over here but yea, thats alot of water! Im really digging the roll'n'lock. I dont really like the box at the front but the rest looks good I think. I needed something for better aerodynamics and also to keep my nitrous bottle secure and out of the weather. Im actually thinking about a small but functional aluminum ducktail at the back as well. At triple digit speeds I noticed the rear end kinda floats a bit but Maybe the bed cover will help with that.

really like the bed cover and glad the running problems figured out. double check your seal at the sending unit. customer had same thing happen in a 95 turned out the oring seal for the sending unit had slipped.

This is completely possible as until I installed the bed cover the tank was out in the open

Yea Im kinda worried about the whole sucking the basket dry thing since I already have to keep at least a half tank to keep from happening. I may have to go to a custom tank at some point. As far as the E85, Im gonna have to find some larger injectors. Im already having to short shift at 5800 cause the injectors are over 100% duty cycle. And thats just on 10% fuel.:dohh:

Alright people I got more issues. I got the Walbro 450 installed and I think its overpowering the corvette regulator. Im getting 78psi at the rail now! Truck idles fine but the longer I drive it the more its starts missing so Im thinking its getting too much fuel. I didnt have my wideband installed to confirm this but with that much fuel pressure at the rail Im sure its getting too much fuel. Has anyone else had this problem with the big walbro pumps?

What you could do is use the Corvette style Filter/regulator and it will cut down the pressure going to the rails.
I'm going to guess that if you keep running it the way it is you will destroy your injectors! and may possibly cause one to "piss fuel" into the cylinder and therefor cause it to blow when ignited and ruin a rod or piston.
A friend of mine had a similar issue and destroyed 2 motors because it was "pissing" into the cylinders.
Just my 2 cents.

The part # for the filter is from Oreillys 33737 from micro guard for $20.00

Re: Project "Steppin Wolf" LS swap

He is already running a vette filter/regulator in his system. You can see it in the 5th picture in post #225.

He may need to add a regular just before the rail. I would probable remove the vette filter/regulator and put a regulator neat the rail and a return hose from there.

We run the 450 pump to a set of stock truck return style rails with the regulator as part of the rail and have not issues with pressure at the rail.

Thank you for that part# but I'm already running the corvette filter/regulator. If I find out I need a new one I'll definitely get that one though cause the last one cost me $35..

After researching I'm seeing others have had this same issue with the walbro 450 with a vette fuel system. Some have solved it by enlarging the return but my return is -6 just like my inlet so I don't know where to go from there. I wouldn't mind trying the return style system but that would require buying more fuel line and a different set of fuel rails. I think I'm gonna stick the stock pump back in and if the pressure goes back to normal I'll just run it that way until I can afford to replace the vette piece with an adjustable regulator and filter. That way I can mount that setup next to the tank and not have to buy more fittings or fuel lines. Don't know if I mentioned it but the company I work for recently cut my pay by over $1000 per month so until I find a new job I can't afford to buy anything else so I'm trying to work with stuff I already have right now.

another video update. https://youtu.be/MVi3qLSjBnw?list=PL...JHsUAX-dOyZH-i

Until I can get a stable picture hosting site it looks like Im just going to start documenting my progress on my you tube channel. I cant get photobucket to work and my trial is up on image shack. If anyone knows of any free image hosting sites that arent just 30 day trials let me know, otherwise I guess Im finished posting pictures.

When I post pics, I just transfer my pics from phone /camera to my computer then upload to the site as I need to. Very simple and free!
