Had a mouse urine smell while I was driving so today in investigated . The outer heater box was cut by a prior owner most likely to replace the heater core made my life easier by far . Found a little evidence in there and just a bit in the inside box . Blew high pressure air into the fan area and stuff came out the cowl vent . Removed the vent and found a big nest . Cleaned it out sprayed some Lysol in there and the smell is gone . I hate mice

Packrats are worse. They line the area around the nest with cactus spines. And their feces is a source of Hanta Virus that killed Gene Hackman's wife.

I was staring at the engine trying to get the ambition to try to get it fired up after putting EFI on it, and I noticed that one of the engine stand bolts looked like it was loose. Sure enough, it was, so I checked the other three and they were loose too! Now I am going to go over all the bolts on the engine and trans to make sure I didn't miss anything else. They say the memory is the first thing to go...

Those smells can be hard to locate, glad you found the source!
We once had a piece of raw meat stuck on the side of my dad's 69 Dart rear trunk. After a month of driving with all the windows down, we finally found the source. 🤢😅

Looking Good! I noticed Baker City Oregon, been there a few times in my travels.
Always thought it was unique that it was named after Edward Baker whom I believe was a state senator who left to fight and was ultimately killed in the Civil War.
