I just picked this one up for my buddy for $300, and I only had one blowout
on the way there. It only needs freezplugs and some tlc. It came with a nice wide toolbox too. It's a 79 Bonanza. It's too rough to fix up nice, but it will make a good work truck. We couldn't pass it up for only $300. Bad pic I know, but I don't have a camera yet so i used the one from the ad. |

Here's my contribution. This is a lot of truck for the 292 to push around but I love it. A seriously neglected $600 Craigslist truck that is my daily driver. Restoring it one payday at a time. Seems like an old road or forest service truck. There are some odd things about this rig but then I'm not yet an expert on these models yet.

My '74 C30
However since buying it took off the tool box and added a truckman (it's second hand, hence the bad color). http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...oth/Truck2.jpg |

My brother had a blue on blue 78 (we still have it) and i almost bought another blue on blue 78 (it was Hawaiian blue, just a little lighter). We have something like 14-15 squares so i wont post any of the other trucks up here for the 56k folks haha. |

The 77 red parts truck with a flat cam that gave its rust free front clip to my 77 http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y26...l/Farmpics.jpg The 73 cheyenne 10 i learned to drive on at the farm http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y26...l/DSC04456.jpg My 77 when i first got it next to my brothers 78 http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y26...s/truckss3.jpg The 77 red convertaburb, only 3/4 ton convertible with a tow package and a 454 bbc you've ever seen right? lol http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y26.../truckkss2.jpg Green 75 k5 on the farm http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y26.../truckkss4.jpg Gold 76 k20 350 th400 np203 on our farm. All original at near 300k, truck never gets stuck and just putputputs around. Good old workhorse http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y26...ll/Cars/k5.jpg My 86 k5 post tree falling on the front clip (ice storm). Ive sense straightened the clip out more, got a matching grey hood off another truck, and a good mark grille (will not buy a grille that is not gm, hours with a rat tail and a bastard file making everything fit) http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y26...s/btruck31.jpg 77 heavy half just like my blue 77 but more optioned out, ac, positrac (if i wasnt going 4x4 in my 77 it would be under my truck now lol) Not pictured: my dads 73 c20 work truck @ 200k, owned it since it had 40k from a farmer 20 years ago, 73 c20 w/60k. bought from an old farmer, for when my dads 73 is to far gone (green truck in my main picture), 74 3/4 manual steering manual breaks, just a spare work truck for hauling lumber at the house we live on. gold 76 (you can see it in the background of the brown 77), 79 white 3/4, just a work truck, not the nicest when we bought it, not the nicest now, but it was cheap. My brother has an 84 c20 at his house too lol. Oh ya, another 77 heavy half scottsdale i believe down on the farm, tree hit the cab broke windshield and passenger window, but has an 80k mile non-egr 350 that ran great, was a fun drive home with no windshield lol. I think i remembered them all. |

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
I'm trying to find the 1974 Lime green (M) paint code for my Jimmy the paint code sites don't have it, but the 74 sales brochure shows it. It really doesn't look like lime but I like the color. Can anyone help?

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
Yup she's mine.
Needs some TLC and a bit of lovin. Rust on the rear fenders.. looks like some possible rust under the rubber mat in the corner near the vents on both sides. I'll be giving her the TLC she deserves. |
Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
I dig truck porn, it's the best. only cause it won't get you in trouble
Isn't that M code like forest service green? ok here go easy on your little buddy before I dropped it. it was the first day I had the wheels on it. I put a 4/4 bell tech kit under it the engine with my handy cold air intake this is my 85 its my pipe dream I have 24's to shove under it and it will lay out to the rockers (someday) untill then I'll just keep buying parts for it |
