I spent a bit of time stripping down the bucket seats I bought last year for the Chevelle. Needless to say the Lowrider blue velvet look just doesn't cut it! The frames springs and tracks are in really good shape other then a bit of surface rust I'll blast off and paint. My plan for the seats is to go with TMI's sport seat covers picture below. One again I'm going with the 67 style seats.

Re: 1966 Chevelle Build
I was pretty happy with the sport seats I put together for my 67. I had 65 442 frames so I covered them with the TMI 65 Chevelle sport seat foams and covers. That was before they came out with the Sport Seat R.
Cant wait to see yours done. |

Re: 1966 Chevelle Build
Although my personal favorite is the '67 I would not balk at the chance to own a '66, this car is turning out awesome. :metal:

The Chevelle is finaly back from paint. Now it's time for the fun stuff! I also got the dash back a few weeks ago and included a picture of it.
I just puchased Eagle Alloys 225 Series Polished Wheels. Two 18X8's upfront and 20X10's in the rear. |
