I am interested in the 68 power steering setup for the 6cyl ( I hope it is from a 250 nonintegrated ) and the 5lug ralleys. Will they fit a 72 2wd lug pattern?

srhart71 02-28-2005 11:30 AM

Please send pictures of the cabs to

Not sure what non integrated means, the wheels are from an 88. I dont know for sure what the backspacing is. I know the 18" Eagle Alloys I have on the 88 also fit my 72 Frame. They are all 5x5 bolt pattern........jt

69ShortStep 02-28-2005 09:17 PM

thanks for your response. I was referring to the integrated or non-integrated head. On later model I6 engines they were integrated into 1 piece. My 250 is the non-integrated where the exhaust manifold comes apart. Do you know what size I6 was in this truck (250 or 292)?

Also, do you have pics of the 5-lug ralleys? My bolt pattern is 4 3/4 inches if you skip a bolt and 3 inches apart from lug to lug.

I am still very interested if we can sort things out.

jtmiller92 02-28-2005 11:20 PM

The engine was a 250, there was a crank pulley in the bed of the truck, i am pretty sure it was from the engine. I will throw that in as well if you need it. I will try and get you some pics of the 5 lug Rallys tomorrow. There were pics of the rallys on the 88-98 parts board under 88 GMC $3000 obo. I bought the truck with two sets of wheels, the rallys and the prime 5 stars and wont be using either sets.........jt

Not really in need of any of that, but if you are that close, I definitely need to come see what else you've got that I REALLY need.

Sure, Give me a call at (859)338-7351. I dont know if you are familiar with Nicholasville but I have a Garage out on ParkCentral. Road behind the Boot Store off US27. Feel free to take some stuff off my hands. lol

cobb_ben 03-01-2005 11:54 AM

Should be a non-intrigal 250, at least if it's the orginal engine. The PS is attached to a 67-72 truck frame and the 67-72 had non intrigal 250s, i belive, know 69 was for sure pretty sure at least to 72 was. Well that's just my $.02

69ShortStep 03-01-2005 02:44 PM

I will take the I6 power steering setup ( including the crank pulley ). Could you get me shipping costs to Central, OH (43112)? I am still interested in the 5-lug ralleys. Please email the shipping cost of the PS system and pics of the ralleys to becshaw@columbus.rr.com.

Thanks,
Shawn

Lol, The only time I see RJ is when he is flying over my house in his Leer Jet landing on or taking off from his Private Airstrip that is on the 60% of Nicholasville that he owns. Man I wish I had 10% of the Money he has. Just to make everyone jealous he put an airplane hanger next to the bypass with clear windows to show off his 2 Jets, and 2 Choppers. I would love to have access to his landing strip though. I few full throttle runs up and down that thing would be sweet. :metal:

jtmiller92 03-08-2005 10:30 AM

I have lowered the prices on several items such as cabs and heater units. Most sheetmetal parts not sold by or spoken for by next week will probably be heading off to the recycler. I need the room to really get started on my truck. I feel most prices are decent but make me an offer and I may take less...........................jt

The drivers front fender and cabs are in decent shape for the southeast but compared to what you find in or around TX are probably not worth your time but if you still want pics I can send some your way.........jt

Mike, I still have the HEI. If you want it you can send me money via Paypal or Money Order. PM me for more info............jt

jtmiller92 03-09-2005 05:37 PM

I need a long bed- do you have one that is fairly decent? Also, doors, fedres, hood, cab- basically everything for a LWB - I have a running 396, 4x4 K20, 4-spd that has seen TOO MANY WINTERS!
Let me know.

68Shorty4x 03-13-2005 03:37 AM

I need the engine mounts/perches that are bolted to the frame for a six cylinder. Also need the first foot or two of exhaust down pipe that bolts to the manifold. I am converting to a 250 from a v8.

OK, I looked at the pic on the first page of the power steering set up, it shows the exaust in it. I would sell the mounts plus 2' of the exaust for $45.00 shipped. Let me know........jt

OK, Here are the pics of the bed. Ther is alittle more rust in the bed than I thought but I have definately seen alot worse. The Previous owner ground out a small amount of rust on the passenger side as seen in pics, there is also I crease in the bottom of the bed that i didnt see before. I took pictures of all the problem areas that I saw. Most of it is on the inside of the bed....jt
