hey guys my name is aaron tavenner. i just turned 19 this past wednesday and i must testify. i just got ahold of my first hot rod... a '67 chevy c-10 with a 454. ive wanted one of these puppies since i saw the burnt orange project truck on the tv show "trucks!". i found it last thursday... drove up 2 1/2 hours to check it out on friday... and bought it and drove it home on sunday! i love the site and i know i have alot to learn, hopefully some of you gray hairs will lend me your wisdom! :) here's a few pics for yall to check out...

truck is lowered with Early Classic Enterprises spindles, springs and shocks. The rear is dropped using ECE springs, relocated shock mounts, and a fully adjustable pan hardbar. :metal:

yep pretty much... what exactly is this panard adjustable bar thing anyways? i still dont fully understand its function :dohh:

On a coil spring rear end truck (it has trailing arms and coil spings) the panhard bar keeps the rear end centered under the truck.

A panhard bar did not come, nor is it necessary, on a leaf spring truck. The leafs keep the rear end in line.

Chances are your truck has a coil spring rear, not leafs ;)

That's definately an awesome start for a project truck.

Yup, that's a coil spring truck :D

That's a relocation kit for the lowered suspension, here's what a stocker looks like (it bolts to the rear end itself)

Man that's a bad ass ride. My first truck like this was a 68 fleet just like that.
It had a 307 and quickly had a 396 in it! Nice truck.
