Hello from Tyler, Texas...or should I say "Howdy!"
hey guys my name is aaron tavenner. i just turned 19 this past wednesday and i must testify. i just got ahold of my first hot rod... a '67 chevy c-10 with a 454. ive wanted one of these puppies since i saw the burnt orange project truck on the tv show "trucks!". i found it last thursday... drove up 2 1/2 hours to check it out on friday... and bought it and drove it home on sunday! i love the site and i know i have alot to learn, hopefully some of you gray hairs will lend me your wisdom! :) here's a few pics for yall to check out...

A panhard bar did not come, nor is it necessary, on a leaf spring truck. The leafs keep the rear end in line. Chances are your truck has a coil spring rear, not leafs ;) That's definately an awesome start for a project truck. |

That's a relocation kit for the lowered suspension, here's what a stocker looks like (it bolts to the rear end itself) |

okay so i crawled up under the truck to take car of a few things and look what i found on the frame directly behind the front passenger wheel well!!!! :ack:

Welcome from Hideaway, TX. Nice ride for 19. I drive to Tyler every day for work I'll keep my eyes peeled for your ride. I got a 72 swb,396,turbo 400 truck as well. Once I get the camera thing figured out I'll post some pics.
