Measure those black wheels again.
I bet they are 8" wide.
Wheels are measured from inside the bead surface.
Not lip to lip.

i know how to measure wheels and they are nine inches from inside to inside. and the other two measure 8.

no its cool. i didnt say they where factory. in fact i thought they was 10 wide but i broke two down to get the exact measurements and backspacing.

Thanks, can I cross post this to the 67-72 main board? I don't want to break any rules. I'm pretty sure they will work but I'm not sure on the backspacing.

If I was going to bet, Broad Wheel in Oneonta, AL probably put new barrels on the old centers. They do stuff like that there quite often... Just another thing they do here in Alabama :)

I think $200 sounds good,but I'll step aside and let the others interested have a shot at them. If you still have them later I'd still consider them. I just bought two 8s figuring I'd use 7s on the front of a who knows when haven't bought yet older 6-lug 2wd. I saw yours and thought the same thing one notch wider might be neater. But,I don't really need them. I just have a wheel fetish and need help :lol:

Malamute,... which wheels are you buying?
Just 2 or all 4?
Is your truck lowered or stock height?
What year truck?
What year rearend?
(this will make the rearend widths different, depending on the year)

The 8" ralley style wheel will definitely work with a disc brake rotor or rear disc brake conversion.

The other 9" wheels I don't know.
If you look closely,... the centers of the two black 9" wheels are different.
The wheel on the left has the "4-nub" 71-87 style center.
The wheel on the right has the older, 3-nub style center.
I assume you would use the 9" wheels on rear?
These will definitely work a drum brake rearend,... just don't know about the caliper clearances of these rare 9" rims.

Maybe some pics of the back side of the black wheels would help.

i will get whatever pics needed but the rear RARE 9 wide was on a drum brake rear and step side with no trouble fitting. the fronts i would assume work. just let me know what you need pics of and i will get them.

Thanks for the response lolife. Right now the truck is stock suspension, brakes and rear end. '69 C10 that came with a 350 but has a sb 400 now. I just picked up cpp disk brakes front/rear, they just came yesterday. The plan is 4/6 drop w/ 2.5" drop spindles up front. I currently have ralley's on it but want to go with a steel wheel and dog dish caps when it's all done. Hope that helps. I just don't want to buy these and then have them not work, I appreciate your response.

Not trying to diss this sale but those 8's up front are going to be hard to tuck with a 4" drop.
6-lug 15x8's (all that I have ever measured) have a 3-5/8" BS which is less than the 5-lug 15x8 wheels. (4" BS)

The 9's on a fleetside bed, "should" work,... but I don't know about the disc brake caliper clearance.

mrdana, I'm going to pass. I think the proper sequence is for me to get the brakes and suspension done first and then go from there. I can run my ralley's until I get there. Sorry to hold you up!
