Here is mine. $125 shipped. No rust, no damage. Factory original GM used from a 72.

3 Attachment(s)
just realized my tray is still in Blaine, haven't brought it home since the swap meet. It is the same as the one in my pics except it's powder coated black. brand new. The battery in the tray in my Burb is 10"w x 7" D x 8" H. There is lots of room, the first pic has a mess of wires because the wiring for the Burb is not complete yet.

thx,
Al.

your kidding me..

72longbed 10-15-2012 09:33 AM

Re: WTB Auxillary Battery Box ....

IAFF2407,
No .... you're kidding ME!! Right!!

I sent you a number of messages asking you the following:

1. Who is the manufacturer, Make and Model #?
2. Can I see pictures of the actual box I would be buying?
3. If it's the Sott company - they make battery boxes for FORDS, not Chevys!

You haven't responded to any of my requests for information ... what makes you think I am going to buy something from you??

Anyone on this site who cannot provide basic information on an item they want to SELL to another member ... has NO RIGHT selling on here!! That's my opinion and the way I choose to do business. Live up to your responsibilities as a 'seller' and you will maybe be able to sell your item.

Oh .... and by the way ... I'm not kidding at all. Very serious.

Thank you.

So I guess you are passing on my GM Very reasonably priced no rust excellent aux battery box for $85 plus $15 shipping?? That is a very reasonable price for one of these boxes. You have been around long enough to know that these often go for more.
So what is a reasonable price you seem to be seeking??

I finally clicked on this WTB thread after noticing and wondering why it has taken so long for the op to get one of these and I now have my answer. Ratchet you are offering up a very nice looking piece at an already discounted price and the op wants it for even less , we have been getting $125.-$150. for these aux. trays for years now. Mel :chevy:

kind of my point Mel, doesn't matter what one he buys (if I was in the market I'd buy RaTcheTmasTer in a heart beat) 72longbed, we are not some much the sellers in this thread, you placed the wtb, 3 members put out the effort, if they don't sell it to you probably because this site isn't a flee market (meaning a swap meet).

Ratchetmaster, PM sent. Also responding here: I'll take it if still available at the 85.00 plus 15.00.

Classic Bowtie: You sir, should know better than to stick your nose into this Thread and stirr up trouble!! What you are doing is against Forum rules!! What purpose does your .02 cents of negatvity an trouble making serve? Are you a party to the SALE .... either the seller of an item or the originator of this Thread ??? NO ... you are not, and your destructive opinions and comments are not appreciated here!! INFLUENCING other responders on their selling PRICE to me ..... That takes some balls!! I don't care how long you've been on here, or if you sell these parts for a living .... follow Forum RULES and mind your own damn business!! Got it?!?!?

It is my right to buy from whom I see fit, and my right to wait for a member who has promised me pictures of an item since Octobr 8th. Foolishly I fell for continuous bull**** stories and PM excuses ... and this has brought me to decide to wait no longer .... but you know what Mel ... that's NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS ... you are NOT a party to this Thread or to this SALE!! You have no right sticking your nose into MY THREAD and disparraging me. Back off!! You know what you can do with your "crazy symbols" too ..... stick 'em where the sun don't shine.
Enjoy the ride.

Thank you.

Re: WTB Auxillary Battery Box ....

Bull**** stories? I can assure that my stories have not been bull****. I explained to you from the beginning that the box is at my shop and that I would be there the following Saturday and get Pics for you. It turns out we had an emergency at work on friday and we had to work saturday as I explained in my PM my shop is 25 miles one way from my house. I make no apologizes for having to work. I guess you have the right to believe what you wish about the situation and I am cool with that. I certainly am not going to loose any sleep over it. You act like everyone on the site is full of sh** and if you feel that way do us all a favor and don't post here. I am not perfect by any means but I try to do the best I can. I haven't cheated you out of anything I simply haven't got a chance to post pics of a battery tray. PM me your address and I will happily send you the tray FREE OF CHARGE, by the end of next week which would be oct 28th.
