The windshield is a tinted/and shaded version. Brand new seal. Glass has not even had wipers on it. It also has the deluxe trim installed. The disc brakes are a kit. It is a conversion kit bought from Chevy Duty. It uses Chevy/Malibu rotors. It is so you can use 4 3/4 bolt pattern Chevy wheels. The rear is a 3:73 gear. The axels have been redrilled for the 4 3/4 bolt pattern also. And the axel centers were turned down at a machine shop. So the smaller bolt pattern wheels will fit. Frame is very nice as well as the trailing arms. Lower body is in need of some attention. But is very fixable.
Oh yea, i sold this to Darren. Just wantin' to help a brother out. hehe

67ChevyC10Stepside 04-21-2004 12:58 AM

man i would LOVE to have that...how much of the body is steel? how much is bondo and other foreign objects? lol

dmurphy68 04-21-2004 08:26 AM

I will not lie there is a lot of bondo in it but it is not because the body was bad. they changed the body lines and used about 20 pounds of mud. it is funny in some spots it is a 1/4 inch thick. I have spend alot of time grinding it out and body has some cancer but in all the normal places.

67ChevyC10Stepside 04-21-2004 02:50 PM

why wouild they have changed the body lines? why is it like 259823890562389 different colors?

panel

Did research and a 70 panel is one of 3,965 produced. Pretty rare truck. Thats a good price on it too. Send pics to the photoshop so you can see what it could look like.

dmurphy68 04-30-2004 06:33 AM

My plans for it was to do a stockl floor body drop and some 20's or bigger. custom interior and all that stuff. But time and Money are a factor and I hate to sell it but it has got to go.with only 3,965 made in 70 ( last year for the Panel) you have to think this was a woork truck. so how many were distroyed and how many are still alive today? The body on mine nees some body work and little thing to be nice. I am trying to buy a house and I am selling all my projects to help fund the downpayment.
