converting 65 c/20 to power disk 71/72
converting 65 c/20 to power disk using 71/72 parts can it be done as far as just dropping the crossmember out of the 71/72 and bolting it into the 65. are the frames the same in the front
someone has to know ttt
yep-2wd that is....i have done spindles/lower a frames on a 65 gmc, and the whole crossmember on a 64 gmc.
Check Early Classic Enterprises, they have a conversion spindle (c20 to c10) that will let you keep your crossmember, a-arms, etc. Just swap spindles and use half ton rotors and calipers. Not nearly as much work.

thanks guys in the process the truck is going to be converted to 5 lug so the spindles might be the way to go i just wanted to make sure that everything was the same
if you dont already have the stuff i've got all you need out of a '72 chevy. just letting you know in case you need it.
