carb question..what to do... what to do

I bought a rebuilt quadrajet with a manual chock. Then I bought the little spring thing that goes in the little hole in the intake. Problem is my intake is aftermarket and not configered right for the hole. Any suggestions?
The guy at the parts place suggested I buy a chock conversion kit.
HELP!!

i would convert to electric choke

These people have electric choke conversions--you will need your carb number.
