Lifetime Big Block Headers??????/ Factory stainless steel exhast manifolds?
 

Im getting ready to rebuild the 454 in my '80 -1 ton- 4x4 dually. Ive always used the factory cast exhaust manifolds , but was wondering if anyone makes a set of stainless steel /or ceramic headers for this application with a GOOD warranty?

In the past a set of headers would only last a couple of years , due to the d*#$mn salt used on the roads in the winter around here. . :mad:

Someone was also telling me GM used stainless steel factory exhaust manifolds on some big block applications? Any ideas?

they were available for motorhome applications, they had a built in flex so they wouldn't crack. i checked into a set for my uncle's motorhome several years ago and if i remember correctly they were around 800 bucks. headers with a warranty aren't hard to find--thorley, sanderson etc. all have excellent warranties but you're going to pay for it.
