Cool way to haul your chopper !!!

You guys may have seen this already, but I just stumbled across this on the Billy Lane Choppers Inc. website. Looks like these guys really know who to haul a bike, eh? Looks like a '72 to me.

I'm with you on that....but if you "have to" haul them....why not do it in style...like in the back of a 72 shortbed :D

Cool pic.

shuttermutt 07-19-2004 10:02 PM

Yep, Billy's stuff is very cool. He's probably my favorite builder. Of course, we can't forget Jesse. Okay, he's pimping this TV thing for all it's worth and that's getting a little tired, but he gets extra points for knocking boots with Sandra Bullock.

Nice truck!

67cst 07-19-2004 11:19 PM

isnt that trim a bit short on the bed? or is it missing a peice?

Tx Firefighter 07-19-2004 11:22 PM

If he drives it much with those short profile o ring tires on the back and that bed full of bikes, he WILL bend those wheels.

Sheesh, I bend 17 inch wheels with 50 series tires.

lock 07-19-2004 11:28 PM

Saaweeeet! I like Billy's style and damn that truck is nice!

Russell 07-20-2004 12:09 AM

Yeah, I was just gonna say, those tires are entirely too skinny for that truck :P

kwmech 07-20-2004 12:28 AM

That is stylin in more than one way :D

69 Short Fleet 07-20-2004 05:09 AM

Good eye Derek, I missed that. Cool bikes & Cool Truck!

Blue Beard 07-20-2004 08:22 AM

Very good looking hauler....

The trim on the back looks like it was damaged...rather flat and wide. Hard to tell by the pic but looks like the bed there may be a little pushed in...

Gee_Emm 07-20-2004 09:01 AM

He needs to trade that one in for a long bed. :p

Anyone else see that 69 or 70 on American chopper last night, it was in some memorial day parade with the guys.

72gord 07-20-2004 09:11 AM

Yup, I noticed the truck leading the bikes in the parade on choppers last night too.

silvertonguedevil 07-20-2004 02:24 PM

LOL. I saw it too. Noticed it right away.

Maybe so ... but your bikes weren't built by Billy Lane and didn't cost $50,000 PLUS either. ;)

super-k 07-21-2004 07:24 AM

In the old days we built our own bikes(still do)and it wasn`t about money. Also Billy and Jesse were on tricycles when Lou Falciglo @ C&F cycles(&many others in FLA)kept the"chopper"alive&kickin`.Hat`s off to the new boys.Keep`em comin`.Just don`t forget, these roots run deep.Respect those who came before and it`s all good.
