Parts

I'm in the process of trading for a '67 with a load of parts, some of which I will want to sell. SOME of the parts I want to sell:
'67 1/2 ton 4.56 posi rearend $175 complete-SALE PENDING
(2)15X14 6 hole truck rally wheels with 31x15.50x15 Mickey Thompson tires. The wheels are inset so you don't have to narrow the rearend. Just add tubs and bolt them on. $150
front fiberglass roll pan $50
stepside smooth tailgate skin $50
stepside bed- no spare cutout- no wood for floor- The bed has been taken apart, so it will ship. With tailgate. $250 I'm planning a parts run to East Tennesee next month, so east delivery is a possibility.

is that rear end just the carrier or the housing and all? can i put the 3.73 gears out of my 68 open diff on the carrier? will it work in my 68 coil spring housing? how much to shipp carrier and axels to 30577?

biglou55 08-11-2004 01:18 PM

is the stepside bed in decent shape. with or without fenders. :banghead: :flag:  :banghead:

HuggerCST 08-11-2004 01:24 PM

The rearend is complete. 3.73s will bolt on the carrier, and yes, it will fit in your housing. I'll check shipping, but I'm guessing at the weight of the carrier and axles. What part of Georgia are you from?

HuggerCST 08-11-2004 01:29 PM

The bed is in pretty good shape, and yes the fenders go with it. The left fender is from another bed, dinged up on top, has some pinholes in the front lower corner, but no major dents or rust.

Bamm 08-11-2004 01:38 PM

What are you asking for the front roll pan? Might be interested......Jerry

biglou55 08-11-2004 01:46 PM

I suppose shipping that many parts to mass. 01301 :flag: :bowtie: :banghead: would be a P.I.T.A. and the price would be a killer. good used sheetmetal around here is none existent.

HuggerCST 08-11-2004 01:47 PM

Rollpan- I really don't know what it's worth, that's why I haven't posted a price yet. Is $50 too much?

67ChevyC10Stepside 08-11-2004 01:56 PM

how much would you want for the rollpan and step fenders and tailgate skin?

HuggerCST 08-11-2004 02:14 PM

67chevy- $225

Biglou- Yea, it would be a PITA, but I will ship it for YOU, lol. Guessing at the weight, shipping greyhound is about $175, if I can get it all into 2 boxes. :flag:

Bamm 08-11-2004 02:15 PM

Hugger - Thats a good price, but after thinking about it and looking at a couple of trucks with that on them, I think i'm gonna stick with a bumper on the front. Thanks, .........Jerry

I wish that I had known that you had a front roll pan. Just got back home from your's and Smonty's place. I picked up a hec of a deal near Kemp. A non a/c cab off of a 70 GMC with NO rust, orignal paint for $100. They have the long fleet bed to go with it. I might go back and get it on my next trip in 2 weeks. See if someone else wants it. I am working on a short stepside.

HuggerCST 08-11-2004 06:49 PM

Wow, I guess you did find a deal! I guess the fuel pump on your van made it to Dallas with no trouble?

Looks like $38 should cover shipping, but I can get it to Pigeon Forge, Tenn. How far would that be for you?

6600DURAMAX 08-12-2004 09:13 AM

Is it possible to post pics of the tires and wheels.

Also if 68 Chevy-Truck TPI doesn't want the rear end let me know

Thanks

i work 6-days a week with sunday my only rest day so i want be able to goto pigeon forge, i am very interested in the carrier could you send me a PM with some details about it. like has it been rebuilt? did someone put those gears on it or is it stock as is piece. how many splines are on the axels, is there anyway for me to know how many splines are on my axels without taking them out? if my axels will work on your carrier i would be interested in buying the carrier only. let me know.

biglou55 08-12-2004 02:49 PM
