35s with 2" lift?

Is it possible to run 35s with a 2" lift? I am in the process of rebuilding my 72 k20, and have run across a great deal on 35 x 12.5 tire wheel combo. Just wondering if it will work, how much it will rub on turns (I will be able to turn, right? :D ) ect..... Has anybody tried this combo? Any info would be greatly aprreciated...

I dont know if I would try it with only a 2" lift. I have a 4" with 35's and that is ok, but they come really close to the front of my fenders ( luckly I havent scrapped them ) I would go with 33's max with that lift.

I'm running 35" BFGs w/ an advertised 2" lift, they are the 2" heavy duty springs from Tuff country. I also have about 1/4" of lift from ORD shackles. I netted about 3.5". They will rub every now and then. My 33" TSLs did not rub. How wide are your rims?

I'm running 35" BFG with 4" lifts on my K20. I wouldn't even want to do any extreme offroading with that combo. I'd stick with the 33" with the 2" lift.

depends on wheel off set. my buddy has a 74 blazer with no lift and runs 35s on 8" wheels with no rubbing problems.

Thanks for all of the input... I guess I will not get them :( I do not have the truck together yet, and would hate not to be able to use them, or worse yet, tear something up with them if I articulate the suspension at all. Better to be safer with the 33s....

I put 2.5 susp lift and 2" body. 35s never rubbed with this combo. Here's a pic of that setup.
