highboy_04 09-28-2004 07:17 PM

Sometimes its just a matter of the right person coming along with the money. I dont think you are too far out of line with your price.

super72 09-28-2004 10:38 PM

I think that's a great price for what is there.

GMC71k20 09-28-2004 11:13 PM

ya that price is dead on if you ask me especially for a 3/4 ton

JIMs70GMC 09-29-2004 04:59 AM

I paid $5K for my 70 GMC 4 years ago and from your pics you have a better truck. Just keep trying.

Blue Beard 09-29-2004 06:36 AM

Money is tight right now for alot of folks.

Took some time for me to sell some rigs, but they will sell.

Don't think your out of line on the price.

i have found that guys on this board want parts to fix up their own truck, or a truck that is cheap and needs a lot of work, i have had much better luck selling nice trucks (like yours) on ebay or through a local big city paper.

Good luck

David

i sold my 69 K20 a few months ago for 3200$

it had a new motor, new clutch, and all new interior, incl tach dash. there was no rust, but one side of the box was messed up from an accident. so all it needed was a new box, and paint. it was a real nice truck, wish i would have never sold it. i been looking around for another one and the best i found was a 64 K10 4 sp, for 2300. it needs a new cab though.

Whatever you do, don't come down so far from the price that you feel is realistic that you will kick yourself later. I tried for too long to sell my '94, and finally caved too far on price to a local guy. I've regretted selling the truck toocheap ever since then. I'm trying to make my peice with it by telling myself that the guy need a dependable vehicle to haul his family that was still fun to drive, but its not helping much.

Bring it to SC

If you had that truck in South Carolina, I would buy it today. I've been searching for a really nice '71 or '72 for several years. The really, really nice ones cost as much as a new truck and the junk still sells for $3500, but I can't find a good one for sale.

super72 10-09-2004 07:49 PM

That is so very true Turkey Guide
