50th anniv shortbed, AC, nice shape Ebay

Check out this nice 50th on Ebay. It's a shortbed with AC. It appears to be in great shape. I wish it was less $$, it would be fun to finding something like that for a few grand.

Looking at the G/B Data sheet I realized that:
This truck has the Custom Sport Truck option that has an interior code of 626 for the parch/vinyl trim
The Custom Group trim Z62 has an interior code of 625 for the parch/cloth
Looks as though both trim levels offered a bench seat.
Overall it is a very nice collectable truck.
Thanks for the link

I saw that one as well. I emailed the seller but I haven't heard anything back yet. If I get more pictures of that one I will post them.

Pretty nice on the whole.

Loose the big fat ugly wheels/tires and put correct stock rear view mirrors on it and you'd improve the looks a lot.

The way the edge of the bench seat is trimmed out looks a little funny to me compared to my 68 CST bench seat. (In the blue)

How do I tell if my 68 is a 50th Anniversary truck

I think my truck might be a 50th Anniversay how do I tell? It still hase the sticker on the inside of the glove box.

First it would be a 68 year model
The paint code of 551 and interior code of 625 or 626
It would also need the Custom or CST trim group

Thanks is that information on the glove box door or on the cowl tag/vin number?

ebay truck

Price would go higher with stock wheels, tires and full caps or simple ralleys and blackwall tires. I agree on mirror heads too. Sometimes its the little things. I got excited with Ac quote, dealer AC not as desirable.

Still very nice example of 68 model.

A very nice rare truck. I think it's the first short bed 50th I've ever seen. If I had the space I go after it but I've already got one project going. My 68 CST has the same seat material just a different color. It's not original though (mine). I can see it's been recovered.
You have to admit though the truck looks clean for a 68. The rims detract from the value if you ask me, along with not cleaning out the interior and the bed tool box. I'm curious to see what it will bring.
I noticed they stated a TH350 but in 68 they were not available in trucks. I wonder if it is an error or has been changed.
