Stainless Rad overflow?
I remember reading on here once about those tall skinny stainless steel rad overflow cans you can buy on ebay, and was just wondering where everyone mounted them and what size I should buy? My truck has an old antifreeze jug right now with a hose duct taped to a hole in the lid. Not a really great setup or that attractive. I figure while I'm doing my resto I might as well do it right and get as much nice looking aftermarket stuff as possible. They range in size from 2"x13" to 3"x16".

I can't remember what size I had but I mounted mine on the radiator support on the grill side and ran the hose from the rad through the factory hole in the inner fender. I'll post a pic if I can find one. You have to make sure you mount it low enough so it doesn't hit the hood.

That's the area I was thinking of. Good to know someone has tried it and it worked. Thanks! Now I just need to measure how big.
