hmmmm I wonder if the wife would let me rip the belt system off our 91 s blazer and put it on the truck?hehehehehe

bisquik65 03-03-2005 10:42 PM

It will bolt up..Any 4.3 ..And a few mods to the wiring you can run the 105 amp alt... no more stuck regulators...I hate when that happens!!! Just put you old brackets back on it ,she will never know

I just did mine guys and it is wayyyy cool. And the modification for the CS-130/CS-130D alternator is a snap....PLUS...NO MORE BELTS SQUEELING.

70c10 03-31-2005 11:11 AM

What are all the benefits other than bigger alternator and squeeling belts?. Any power gains?. Just curious.

Putter 04-01-2005 11:39 AM

No problems with belt alignment, no belts getting loose and squeeling as they wear, one belt to buy, higher amp alternators, A/C bracket is built in if you want to run air (if not, you run the A/C delete pulley)...did I mention that they look awesome? Maybe there is NO advantage...but they look cool.

Can the Sanden ac compressors be used instead in this system? I would need a big sanden for the burb....

I don't know if that will bolt in place of the radial compressor? They may have an adapter bracket to do that . I wouldn't know?
