4 Grand!! Seems a little rich for my blood for something like that.

But, to each his own, I suppose.

67ChevyC10Stepside 03-23-2005 12:07 PM

jcueckert13 03-23-2005 12:45 PM

Boy, he isn't kidding! Those vato mobiles are out in full force around here too. Full size trucks with 100 spoke daytons and 13 inch tires. I pick on folks who like the slammed trucks, but even those look WAY better than these POS's

with the spoked rims and scraping-prone drops, i call em the mexi rides. you can guess why. no racism here, just an observation.

I guess it's to each his own, but never have I seen as many butchered lowriders as I have in this state. Those spoked wheels require a hub adapter and it adds about an inch to the offset, not to mention the idiots often don't take into consideration how much offset the rim has built into it. Hence, you get a car with the tires sticking 6 inches out past the fender lip. DUMB. Must be hell on the wheel bearings.

i see all kinds of cars with that crap on em. i saw an early 90's astro van once. yup, a big boxy green astro van, in all its ridiculous spoked glory. i think the wheels were gold too.
