quick 4x4 question

will a power steering pump and box off a 77 - 79 fit a 67-72 ?

Just check out the rag joint shaft size and splines. I have seen them different sizes, and I guess the threads for the lines. Other than that I think they should work.

oh ok thanks ,the only resion i put it over there was i thought it would get seen more !! i put it in the wrong place sorry

Mudder 04-11-2005 01:45 PM

No problem. I have been checking out 4x4 threads for a long time and I have noticed that usually the same guys that answer over there will respond here. Bout the only thing I wont move over here is a pic of someones truck. If its an info type thread I will for sure to move it here. That way in the future someone can seach this forum for 4x4 answers and will find it here.

cool!!, get them all in one place !!! its easyer to look and see whats going on. i dont come over here to much but i do come in here sum but will be here more often :metal:

Not sure if you remember but before Josh added this 4x4 forum the main board was totally confusing. You didn't know if someone was talking about a 2 wheel drive truck or a 4x4. There are a lot of differences.:)

I have never compared the two (arms). I don't think theres differences. The pump may mount different also.
