dyno day and the 67

put the 67 k10 on the dyno today and she ran 196.9 hp to the wheels and 225. tq at 4000 rpm, better than a v10 ram and everything they had their that day. not bad for a truck.... is this hp any good? old built 383 stroker engine

Depends on the type of dnyo. Seems very low to me for a "built" 383. 350 HO crate motor out of the box with wrong cam was 230HP and 330TQ. This motor was suppose to be a 330HP / 380TQ. I changed cams / fuel system and carb - made a world of difference.

4000 rpm seems kinda low to be pulling peak h.p.

when i dynoed my truck i had 191 rwhp at 4000rpm and 272 rwtq at 3000. with my new heads i hope it brought those numbers up some

it was a mustang dyno, seems like nothing on the dyno has been big hp though, some hopped up trans am had like 168 to the wheels, the truck i think was the most. my heads are brand new redone 2.02 camel back with stainless manley race valves, 600cfm holley, edelbroke performer intake, 2.5 ram horns, not sure what cam, its pretty loppy
