Steering Collum Shift Linkage
 
Can somone post a pic of the steering collum linkage for an auto I cant seem to get the shifting linkage to stay in the holder it just falls out and I dont know why.

Probably, I took those pics in the middle of a cab swap, there were lots of loose wires.:D

Ok in the last pic what holds that rod in the part that is on the collum? Mine if I shift a little too much into park it just falls out. I know my steering collum isn't mounted right but still I dont think it should slide around like that.

I suspect that you may be missing the metal sleeve out of the stud assembly.

I am attaching an exploded view of the swivel stud assembly. The components that make up the swivel stud assembly starting from the left are: stud and cup washer, sleeve, grommet, flat washer, lock washer, and nut.

Hopefully you can see the parts as the picture quality is not the best.
