Speedometer -drive gear
 

was wondering how involved it is to replace the drive gear for the speedometer in a th400. My speedo stopped working and have replaced speedo then cable then driven gear so I assume it must be the drive gear that is bad. The old driven gear was really worn concave in the teeth

very easy......just remove the tail piece.....4 bolts.....just get the same color and tooth count and your in......mark
