brakes brakes

If I could just get my brakes done I could drive this thing for the first time in over a year!

I've replaced my master cylinder and bled the lines, but in the front chamber of the MC I see fluid bubbling up when I press the pedal. So two questions:

1. Does this mean that fluid is slipping past the seal?
2. Would this leak in the front chamber prevent strong brakes in the rear? I'm not clear on how the front and rear interact. I'm not looking to drive the truck with only rear brakes but am trying to determine if I have an unrelated problem with the rear lines.

I'm hoping the MC is still under warranty. And I was SO careful not to push the pedal down too far in bleeding!
