My '69 GMC 1-ton at work.........
Been hauling wood like mad with the old girl. Haven't had a like of trouble with it so far this fall. Hopefully I'll have the box floor replated and painted blue to match the original truck color for next year :metal: Thought about black, but I am not sure

Definately black...

Do not jinx yourself now!! Go black and finish off the two tone on the fenders with maybe the factory side lower trim if you can afford it. That would look nice.
|
Black would look cool, but I only have one remark. Where the he!! are the rockers?

Hides rust great huh   Actually, I fixed the door bottoms and rockers over the summer. Didn't want to shoot the whole truck since the original paint is decent still, so I just used the body line as a tape off point and shot that area on both sides black. I didn't do the area behind the bumper as a previous owner put a pickle in the passengers side fend in that spot. So I'd have had one nice side and the other a mess, so I didn't bother with it.

a guy i work with painted his 83ish K10 with this stuff that is like a mix between undercoating & spray-in bedliner. it came out real rugged & looked cool. just an idea. (it cost about $40-50)
