Those of you who used fuel cell guys tank do you have to remove the bed to install it?

no, but it makes it easier.

Taking the bed off isn't really a big deal. on a longbox it's about 6 or 8 bolts and unpluging the tail light harness at the back. 3 or 4 guys can do it without busting a gut.

I did mine with the bed on and it was a fleetside lwb, so I had to cut the crossill and drill the holes in the frame upside down. Would it be any easier with the bed off? No, because you can't drill holes in the bottom of the C style frame from the top, and it's not like I have a bed rotisserie so if it were off the truck I’d still have to work underneath it.
