i'm running an edelbrock victor of some sort...
stock compression, rv cam, ported 882 heads...
i don't mind it, it's cool out on the highway,
but i think you'd make more torque with an edelbrock performer or performer rpm...
really depends on your cam and compression ratio...

It depends on what type of "high-rise" it is. If it is a single plane I would stay away from it for a truck unless you are an all out drag racer. Dual plane intakes make better low end torque right where it's needed for a truck. I have an Edelbrock Perf RPM Q-jet manifold on the 388 in my Suburban.
