which shocks?

Just restarted working on my '70 Chevy since last spring. I ordered a Tuff Country 4" EZride lift with rear springs. I need a recommendation on what shocks to use. I remember some posts about this but I can't find them. Some said not to use gas.
Thanks.

Let us know how you will use the truck and what you want from it.Are you looking for low-speed flex, good road handling,a little of both?I really like the Rancho 9000RSX adjustable shocks, worth the cost to get the variety of settings.

I want a comfortable street ride. No major off-roading.

thanks

You`d like the Rancho RSX9000s.I have them on my`91 Suburban with a 4" EZ-Ride.It rides way better than stock. No more "jars" or "jolts" when set on soft. It`s a 3/4t with 35" tires.I can set them on hard if I tow a big load. It`s a completely different ride. They`re not a gimmick.
