...what was the horsepower rating for the 402 in the 71 pickups? The brag was that I was "offered" a 71 Cheyenne Custom Camper/20 with factory 402/4-speed and a/c for $300.00

specs per Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual:- Hp= 300 @ 4800 rpm; Torque = 400 @ 3200
