Cool, progress is always good. What are you doing to the bed (Mods?)

What year is the bed?

Re: a little progress on the bed
Maybe I missed the long range plans page....are you going to use an original style fender on there? Anyway, building it yourself is awesome. Keep up the pace and post those pics!!!!

These trucks look good with newer beds if done right.

Re: a little progress on the bed
Nice to see that someone took the time to shave that upper body line. Matches better without it.

Re: a little progress on the bed
how did you fill the upper body line {metal to fiberglass} have not had any luckwith this type bond.

OJOE thats not my truck it is an old board member named lotik, its his truck I have just save pics of it..

Re: a little progress on the bed
The only thing I don't like about these beds is that the wheel cutout on the fender is flattened off on top and the earlier vintage trucks are round. Notice the front fender and rear fender are shaped different. Maybe I'm just being to picky but I saw some pics of the bed wheel well recontoured to match the front fender and it looks much better. It might have been photochopped.

rearched fender wells yet to come.

Re: a little progress on the bed
That is looking real nice. Be real interested in how you rearch the wheel openings.

Re: a little progress on the bed
did anyone notice that the bed was shorten on the rear, look how close the fender is to the tail light.
