1/2 ton vs. 3/4 ton Booster.
I pulled a 72 3/4 K20 Booster/master/porp. valve intending to use it to convert my 71 c-10 to power, now I find out it fits, but is different. Will it still work properly ? (it's the 11" Delco booster)

Yes it'll work, and it is a better piece too.

It's a better set up than the single style diaphram 1/2 ton ones.

Thank's Longhorn Man and Rod.
Looks like it's time to get off the computer and start bleeding some brakes. |

Re: 1/2 ton vs. 3/4 ton Booster.
The outlets for the master ore different on a 1/2 ton and a 3/4 ton. The 1/2 is front to front, rear to rear and the 3/4 is rear to front and front to rear. If you use the 3/4 master and the 3/4 booster you will be OK but you cant use the 1/2 master with the 3/4 booster the rod is a different lenth. If you want a 1/2 master with the same outlets and the correct lenth for the rod you can use a 1977 master. It uses the same lenth rod as the 3/4 Hope that helps and good luck.
