Truck Paint Progress
3 Attachment(s)
I'm slowly working around my truck. Doing the best I can painting a panel as I go. I did the hood and one fender last fall. I just finished changing the cab roof to white, changing out the home-made front bumper for a freshly painted 71-72 bumper, and did the other fender and both doors. If things go well I'll do the box next year. Oh and the straight, extra tailgate I purchased a few years ago.
Before, after and after pictures below. Note that all the paint and body work was done by me. I work in an un-heated shop with no paint booth. No laughing by you guys that are good at body work. |

It was such a nice evening I backed the '71 out for a photo op.
Can you imagine there was a time when you had to choose between these two at the dealership? |

Re: Truck Paint Progress
Great photos and truck is coming along. My hat is off to all who do their own paint. I did alot of my body sanding but soon made the decision that final work and paint needed to go to someone who had more skill and time.
