Hello everyone! I have been reading this forum for quite some time now and figured I would share with yall my truck. It had a 250 but I bought a 307 for 400 bucks, plus the wheels and tires. But I just have to put the throw out bearing in tomorrow because stupid me didnt know the one I bought was to short. Let me know what yall think! Heres a before and after

Looks good. How did you lift it? Just springs?

Thanks for the comments. Yep..im runnin' a 3 speed and I finally got it going yesterday and drove it around the yard. I have to buy a different header now because the clutch rod hits the header and causes the clutch pedal to jerk! And I lifted it with the fabtech lift. It came with springs and a spacer that goes on top of the spindle. I live in paulding county GA. I dont know if thats close to any of yall though?

Do you have a link for the kit? I went to Fabtech's website and one section goes back to 1988 for 2WD GM trucks and another goes back to 1973. Couldn't find anything for 1971-72 GM trucks?

I had a Fabtech kit on my Nissan Frontier, it was a good kit.

The kit came off of a 79 2wd SWB. Im guessing it is the 73-87 fabtech kit. It gave me roughly 3-4 inches of lift!
