Radio Delete Questions
The hole for my radio was enlarged at some point and I would like to cover it with a radio delete. I was wondering if the delete will cover the hole thing or not. Can someone tell me the measurements on a radio delete? Also, how are they connected into the dash? Thanks.

1 Attachment(s)
It's about 2 1/2" X 8" and attaches with 2 clips that snap into the holes where the radio posts come through.

Re: Radio Delete Questions
James, was it enlarged for a DIN sized radio (detachable faceplate style) or was the opening just enlarged a but?
If it is the latter, you should be ok. |
Re: Radio Delete Questions
Andy, It was just made a little bigger for a 70's or 80's style radio (not a face plate). Hopefully it will work out then. Now I just have to find one with the clips on the back intact.

Re: Radio Delete Questions
When you locate one, just spray it black to match the seat and rubber mat. If you do the ash try too, it'll look like it belongs there like that.
Better than having a red one awaiting the custom paint. How's the step side bed search going? |
Re: Radio Delete Questions
Can't find a stepper real close, but a board member in Springfield has a SWB for sale. He says he will bring it here and help me hook it up, but I haven't decided yet since the bed has quite a bit of rust.
