Hello from Oklahoma Panhandle
Old dog needs help learning new tricks. I'm a retired farmer/rancher/custom hay baler. Have restored 9 late 50-mid 60's cars, and two old travel trailers as hobby. All from pre-computor days. Need help and guidance in learning to work on a '97 Chev 454, auto, crew-cab dually. Has 117000 mi., well kept, to use for RV towing only. No desire to hot-rod, just good maintenance and desire to learn how the computor system works. We're never too old to learn! Thanks to all in advance.

Re: Hello from Oklahoma Panhandle
Oh Yes,
Forgot the '68 Firebird Ragtop. The '58 Imp was my hotrod. Pumped up a 454/w competition power-glide, dual fuel- gas & propane- won't bore all with the other added goodies. Those days are over due to light stoke leaving vision troubles, but you younger ones keep tweekin' em and smoking those tires. Cayoterun |

Hi, Prerunner1982:
I can't get the Oklahoma Roll to open up. Can you tell me how? I'm about as literate on this thing as my truck system. Thanks, Cayoterun |

Re: Hello from Oklahoma Panhandle
Hello, Chevycrazy67: I volunteer for a Heritage museum located in Boise City, Ok and an old farmer gave them 4 old trucks that had accumulated on his farm. One was a '37 Dodge 3/4 ton which his dad had bought new and had complete set of registration papers from the first one. A fella' from Dothan bought it, drove all the way up here to get it. Like to have gone nuts over how rust free it was. We only have 17 in. average rainfall here. Wish I could remember the guys name, but if you run across a '37 Dodge fan there, ask him if it came from up here. His adult son came with him and he said his Dad was so exited over its condition that he thought he might ride in it on the trailer all the way to Dothan, afraid he was dreaming.

Re: Hello from Oklahoma Panhandle
Found the Okie roll call-Thanks
Also I have a problem question listed in the 88-98 section if any of you want to offer any suggestions. We're open to any and all advice. We're pretty sure that once found it will be a little petty deal, but they can sure cause alot of rock-kickin', name callin' fits 'til found. Sometimes it easier to have a rod stickin out the block. At least you can find it! Cayoterun Ok. Panhandle-- "Where a handshake is still a contract" |

Hello, Nutsforchevys
I sold my Scotty travel trailer to a lady in Granville. Delivered it to her last year. A good pastor friend lives in De Leon. Small world. Cayoterun |
