1970 Quad Cab Truck

This sold on ebay a while ago and the guy swore up and down that he ordered it from the factory like that brand new and used it as a service truck at his dealership i dont have any of his information nor did i know who he was but i have people arguing with me left and right saying that it did exist and GM build this truck i need some proof that they didnt...any help appreciated!

They exist. I've seen several. I'm pretty sure a couple board members have them. The Forest Service got a bunch of them and I think some railroad company got a bunch. Others will probably chime in with better stats.

GM didn't build them... .so you win.
BUT.... They are in fact as original as a later model camaro with a convertible top.... GM didn't make them either, just like the El Camino SS... they were farmed out, as are the conversion vans... but sold on the GM floor. |

Thanks alot for the comments i just wanted to make sure GM didnt make them and they were a dealer conversion or another companys conversion
