Thanks Kevin,
I'm glad you posted that pic, I wanted to ask you about the rail you shaved off just below the ccowl, won't that let water rund down the firewal more since it doesn't have any where to go now, or am I:crazy: |
Re: Let's see some pics of shaved firewalls
Looks sweet Rokcrln! So what are you going to do with all the wires and stuff like the fuse block, speedometer wire, winshield wipers, ebrake and so on. I would love to do something very similiar to that. Thanks

Re: Let's see some pics of shaved firewalls
i,am gonna do that to my firewall. they only rust i have on my whole truck is in the heater air intake across the front of the firewall and i was perplexed as how to fix it. after seeing how nice these firewalls look its going to be how i do mine except i want factory air . that lip removed across the top looks killer. chevy should have done that......

Re: Let's see some pics of shaved firewalls
for those of you with the shaved firewall, are you not running a heater?
i thought about removing mine because it will be parked for the winter, and i don't have AC, so there's really no need for a heater. |
Re: Let's see some pics of shaved firewalls
I will be using an aftermarket heat& A/C, only thing you will see is the bulk head where the four fittings will be for the hoses.

Re: Let's see some pics of shaved firewalls
On project Lomon Drop he has Heat and A/C and an 18 circut Painless harness and you will see none of it when finished!
