what can i do with the hood hinges?
 

the hood hinges are in the way of laying out and also the fan motor for the heater. is there anything i can do to keep these parts on the truck? are there any hood hinges that will work? thanks in advance. 1971 suburban

I believe a few people have used hinges from the 88-98 chevy fullsize trucks.

Not sure how complicated it would be though...
