Because the other thread got a bit out of hand for some reason :crazy: Im re-doing it.

This is a Want to buy thread. If you want to buy the same stuff too...start your own thread, and if you're not a subscriber and unable to post your own WTB thread, subscribe, its cheap and well worth the money...don't try to ride on my coat tails and snipe me. Sheesh, now that I got that out of the way :)

Im looking for,linkage from column to tranny, the small shift arms on the tranny and chrome shifter arm on the column. I want to reconvert my truck to column shift. The linkage needs to be out of a truck that ran a saginaw full sincro 3-sp. If you want to consider a trade, I have the 3-sp floor shifter set up in mine I will trade. But I will pay cash if you have what Im looking for.

I DO NOT need the column itself and I DO NOT need the steering wheel. I dont mean to come off as pizzy, but I guess I needed to be a little more clear and toss in some of the board rules so no one gets crap.

You did the right thing deleting the old thread that had other off topic for sales,etc.If it happens again,let us know.

I have a 69 6 cyl 3 on tree truck that should still have the linkage in it. I will take pics of it tonight and tell me which pieces you need.

Thanks Mike, much appreciated. If I cant come up with this stuff I will be yanking the 283 and 3spd and sticking in a 350 and auto.

I have a shift lever we just took off my buddy's truck. The mounting area is a bit worn, but the rest looks OK. I'll take a pic in the morning and see if it's what you need.

I have what you need if others don't. Just changed my 72 GMC, 350ci, 3 on the tree to 700r4.

I apologize if I was the one that screwed up your other thread. I guess I should have taken it off line but was only trying to respond to questions asked. :o

I wish I could help you out with my 3speed column shift linkage hardware in my '68, but it just isn't available until I do the engine/tranny swap from my '72.

I have everything you need and some spares too.. what kind of floor shifter are you trading?

Let me reword this.. I have most of what you need for that transmission as far as the shifter goes. Do you need the tubes for the column too? As far as the bearings ..I have a source for those at LMC. that is what I used to redo mine. PM me if you want anymore information.
