looks right to me is there somthing wrong with it. I decided to get rid of the rock in my burb there just to loud. Mine always sounded like it was coming apart.

I'm going to rebuild it and was wondering if everything looked alright. I was also wondering what rebuilding it consists of. By the way what did they use to seal the case from the factory? |

Looks a little worn but far from wore out. A rebuild would be all new gears and bearings or could be a cheap rebuild with just new bearings.
Check this gear out real good and then make sure all the shafts have no slop from a bad bearing. Attachment 274484 Ed |

Rebuilding the Rockwell may be kind of difficult. Parts are fairly hard to find, and expensive. You may be better off swapping in a NP205, thats what I did. I think it cost me around $225 total for the swap, including the t-case.
