disc brake master cylinder

Finishing up a 4x4 disc brake conversion on my 67, can I use my non dics brake master cylinder, or do I need to change it. Thanks

yeah, change it. Disc brakes require more fluid flow than drums.

Also need to change the prop valve to a disc/disc valve or install an adjustable one

Re: disc brake master cylinder

The drum master holds more residual pressure than the disc unit does. Found out the hard way. Had a drum master on my '71 bled it out and couldn't turn the rotor because of the difference in the residual pressure.
