HELPPPPPP: TBI / GAS TANK/FUEL PUMP ?s
I have a Donor 89 GMC That I plan to use the running gear, for my 69. I would like to build a mild 383 with the 350. My 1st question is will the TBI supply the required fuel pressure. The second is do I have o have an in-tank fuel pump, or can I use an external electric pump. I am ready to order my tank from FuelCellGuy . as soon as these questions or answered

I believe you posted this in the wrong spot. But, the fuel psi is 9-12 psi, and you can run an external pump, I have seen them listed in summit catalogs and jegs, but I am sure you can get them at other places.

I used the external pump for holley pro-jection. It works fine and is quiet. You just need a return line in your tank.
Maybe one of the mods will move this out of the parts section... |

Re: HELPPPPPP: TBI / GAS TANK/FUEL PUMP ?s
Sorry, I thought I was posting in the Engine Drive Train section. I started in the Search / New post area then thought I clicked on the Engine choice. My computer is a 10-year-old build, I have updated hard drives, memory, and the modem, but my motherboard and graphics card is original. I have been experiencing some real flaky responses lately.
Thanks for the info, I now plan to use an external pump. I have decided to order my tank from FuelCel Guy. |
