Very nice truck. Not sure why you would repaint such an original truck, especially since it had been garaged all it's life. But beautiful noetheless.

That's one nice truck. Long way to go to get it. Don't understand it not having A/C.

It's nice, granted, but the bed wood is not up to par with the exterior of the truck, the steering wheel has at least one crack and the interior paint is not what you'd want it to be based on all of the bragging they did on their sale verbage.

Am I nit-picking? Sure, but that's what I'm capable of doing. Am I anal? You know it. The tonneau cover? At least put some support ribs under it to give it shape. And the fact that the original owner took those dog-dish caps off because he was afraid someone would steal them? That's bogus. People took those off because they didn't want them on the truck and had some other custom wheels to use....or even a set of wheel covers. I just don't buy the idea that someone would take them off for that lame reason.

Yet another stepside Cheyenne surfaces! I like it, but I do think I would have liked it more with the original paint. It would fall right in to the shop truck/ traditional rod look that's still going around. If I had made the effort to paint it I think I would have removed the bed cover and had all the holes welded up before paint. Anyone want to take a guess on what it's going to bring?:)

SeeTen, I don't have a clue what it will bring but I wonder if I flew out there would it make it back to Tn.

It's a well represented vehicle and in remarkably good condition for it's age. Without a doubt the bed floor should have been replaced. Rusted out muffler too. Out in Cali it will probably bring well over $10g.

Ron, You know how I like to drive em! If it couldn't make it that far I wouldn't want it! With the availability of rust free metal in California I'dbe shocked/surprised if it hits 10K.

Not bad, but im kinda turned off by the fact it was repainted. im a sucker for original paint...The interior is in great shape though- my guess is it'll sell for about 6k.

i got spoiled with mine- all original paint and chrome and original receipts/manuals. bought it off the original owner for $5,000.

ha thanks- been super busy with work and in spare time just researching and planning the future of the truck... been on the board a lot, but mainly just reading and getting to know the culture and people. finally feel like i have enough of a grasp on things.

get ready - you'll be seeing a lot more of me on the board. ;) -

Good to hear from you kingman. It's hard to believe that your truck survived all these years and still looks so great. Very sweet stepside.
