Bob and Wes,
both your dash's look sweet. i have the same setup in my super and put together another using all NOS guages--including a nos speedwarning speedo head-for my 72 cheyenne K20 that i've been gathering parts for over the last 4or5 years. my nos one looks so nice i'm scared to install it,lol. just saw a nos buzzer on evilbay with a "buy it now" of $99.00:smoke:

Re: WTB speedwarning dash

One of my customers just sold an NOS speedwarning speedo through Ebay "off the books" for $600 or $700. I saw it but couldn't get up for those prices.

Re: WTB speedwarning dash

i paid nearly 500 for mine a few years back but it was only the second one i'd ever seen. all together i've got about 1400 in my cluster:dum: but i'm a sucker for NOS and decided i just couldn't live without it.:smoke:

bestchevyfan,
thats what i'm afraid of, between the cluster and the set of extreme bend towhooks it'll be a real easy target:lol: i'll have to sleep in it with my pitbull and my 44 magnum:mm:

Re: WTB speedwarning dash

I appreciate it guys, but I had no idea they would be so high.....Does anyone just have the speed warning I can install on my dash? Maybe the whole thing is to much right now.

Re: WTB speedwarning dash

If you already have the tach dash, you might find a speedwarning dash and put the two together, but it still won't be cheap.

Re: WTB speedwarning dash

An original tach dash usually costs around $150.+ at swap meets with no guarantee that it works. Add a Vac dash option and that is about another $75. Then add the rare option of the speed warning and you can expect another $150. This is not restored or guaranteed price. So, add it all up and you can easily see why the prices are as high as they are. New Bezel, Lense, Rear wiring overlay ----You can have $500 invested and if the tach is bad, you need another $100.----Add it up and you can see that the dealers are not marking up for any significant profit!!

Re: WTB speedwarning dash

I cannot believe those are so expensive. I spent 1700 coin on my one-off Classic Instruments but that much in a OE cluster. whoa!

Re: WTB speedwarning dash

For some it is the desire to have the unusual...which is ok...My truck came with a factory Tachometer but it would be kind of cool to have this
Tach Vac Speed Warning Cluster :c2:. :but: it is more than I want to spend. It will be interesting to see how high this will go.
